How could we improve Flow?

Add 'text only' editor option

I am sick of Flow trying to be 'smart' whenever i paste in code, csv data, anything really. All I want is a text only editor. I dont ever want Flow to touch what i paste in. Ever.

    Hey there! Thanks for reaching out. We actually have two options when it comes to entering text in your tasks. The visual editor is the one enabled by default, but you also have the option to turn on a Markdown editor, which sounds like exactly what you’re after. Just open your Account Preferences, edit the “Text editor” field and select “Markdown editor” instead of “Visual editor” and save.

    Hope this helps! Let me know if you have any other questions.

        I use markdown. If I type something like this:

        ```
        host redacted {
        hardware ethernet 00:04:00:cd:66:1a;
        fixed-address 192.168.244.110;
        }
        ```

        I get a little compact disc emoji (:cd:) in the middle of the ethernet MAC address.

        Same thing happens if I used <code></code> instead of the backticks.

        Code or preformatted text shouldn't be run through the emoji interpreter IMHO.

        I am using the markdown editor and it still tries to be clever (try pasting in some cells from Excel).
        Please add a text-only editor that does absolutely no processing on my text.
