We’ve got plans for this. Start dates first!
We’re planning on allowing people to favorite tags, and perhaps even subscribe to tasks with a certain tag.Braden commented
I see this is critical. I am (probably was now) in the process of implementing Flow and outside being able to work offline I was pretty impressed, however this is a deal breaker. The whole point of a good project tool is efficiency and these days it is more common to work across multiple projects, organisations, even domains so an ability to view your work by context or tag becomes critical to efficiency. I'd have thought saving custom views based on each persons desired criteria would be a must these days. Unfortunately I must have misread/misunderstood the filters could be saved.
For what it is worth I reviewed around 10 apps over the last couple of weeks and custom views or saved searches/filters is in all them bar this and one other (well the other was very clunky so may as well not have been there).
Wanted to let y’all know that some of our earliest efforts at addressing offline access are available in the new iOS app.
- The app is now accessible when offline
- You can now access tasks that have been downloaded when offline.
- You can create tasks when offline, and they’ll get synced when you’re back online.
The new app is a separate download from the old one, so you’ll need to either search for “Flow Tasks” or follow this link to get it:
Any idea when it might at least hit the roadmap at least? I get for a lot of the US it probably isn't too bad as you can connect pretty much anywhere, BUT in may other parts of he world we are not so lucky and Internet access is spotty, is not on planes or is an unreasonable cost in the event it is. This then becomes a material gap that puts it well ahead of any other feature for my application.
I think it is a great app and the more I use it the more I love it. While I'll probably use it for personal use and small things it is a deal breaker for anything serious or to see me personally recommending it... which is a pity is it is top of the line for the most part.
